End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Budget Bumblebee ("the Software"), you agree to this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree with these terms, do not download, install, or use the Software.
2. License
Whether you purchase Budget Bumblebee or receive it free of charge through our Equip program, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your own personal or business use, subject to this Agreement. You are receiving a license to use the Software. Ownership of the Software remains with Eales Media Pty Ltd.
3. Permitted Use
You may:
- Install the Software on your own computer(s) in accordance with your license.
- Create backup copies for your own use.
- Use the Software without an internet connection.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Software except where permitted by law.
- Remove copyright notices or branding.
- Share your license with others unless your license specifically allows it.
5. Privacy
Budget Bumblebee is designed to keep your financial information on your own computer. The Software does not upload your budgeting data to our servers. Please read our Privacy Policy for details about the limited information collected when purchasing or activating the Software.
6. Updates
We may provide updates, improvements or bug fixes. Some updates may require you to accept an updated version of this Agreement. Installing an update is optional unless required to maintain compatibility or comply with applicable law.
7. Ownership
All intellectual property rights in the Software, including its source code, graphics, logos, documentation and trademarks, remain the property of Eales Media Pty Ltd.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Budget Bumblebee is provided "as is". While we work hard to produce reliable software, we cannot guarantee that it will always operate without errors or interruption. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own financial information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eales Media Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the Software. Nothing in this Agreement excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. If changes are significant, we may ask you to accept the updated Agreement before downloading future versions or installing major updates. Changes required by applicable law take effect as necessary to comply with that law.
11. Termination
This license automatically ends if you seriously breach this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and remove all installed copies.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, unless mandatory laws in your country require otherwise.
